MY TV PICTURE HAS GONE A LITTLE DARKER AND ADJUSTING BRIGHT, CONTRAST, COLOR,ETC. DOES NOT HELP

How long u have this RCA analoge tv?Around 10 years or more and used it like about 5 or 6 hrs everydays?Yes,than ur tv it is losing CRT tube radiation cohetion. As times go bye years in years out the tv CRT-(tv tube) radiation will slowly dying out,Tv actual pictures will lost some of it luster and it brightnesses to the tv auctual pictures.Brightnesses of CRT tube will get darker and darker until the tv actual pictures barely it is watchable anymore.Contrast,Brightness and Colors adjusting more will help some. But u have to take this tv aparts and take a Flat scerw driver turn up a little bit more of the tv HV-(high voltage) SCREEN button on the FBT-(flyback transformer) to make any big differences of the CRT tube brightnesses. The FBT-(flyback tranformer) is the big block of plastic with a red wire with a black cap hook up to the tv CRT-(tv tube). This adjustment on of the FBT,HV-SCREEN button will help the tv CRT-(tv tube) last another year or two.

When I turn it on, it makes a buzzy noise but nothing else., no picture or tv sound.

The set has a high voltage problem, "the flyack transformer is defective" It generates the high voltage in the picture tube and with the help of the video circuits it produces a picture. It is not cost effective to repair the tv, cheaper to replace.

I have a 1994 zenith big screen the picture is showing really dar

It could be that the picture tubes have gone down on emission, there is a prcedure that can be tried to bring up the overall brightness but it is just possible that you will loose some picture quality. If it's a 1994 projo tv i am thinking of the three crt system, a gray scale alignment would probably correct the dark condition in your picture, again depending on how far gone is the emission in your picture tubes, if your projo tv is the dlp system, the bad news is that you could be needing some light engine repair. The color adjustment is possible with the availability of a service manual or in the case of the dlp system, light engine repairs or replacement are available from some on line stores.

TV keeps flicking off and on. Picture will go away and fade back

Seems like a bad contact somewhere - could be bad / deteriorated solder connections somewhere on the circuit board, broken wires or similar - check any connectors (especially in the area where you noticed sparking), see if the pins have bad solder contacts, also check other components - resolder any bad connections, this might solve the problem.

Stay on power light but no light or sound

No picture, no sound and all the fuses are ok, means there are no shorted components in the circuit, more than likely the tv is not generating horizontal drive to produce and feed hv to the crt and no b+ for the audio circuit. The tv is big enough to keep and repair if you are cosidering a repair estimated around 400dlls. I think the problem would be located in the deflection board.
