This depends on the motherboard, but most will return to full power by default, when you press the "start button".
Check the manual for the BIOS settings that determine what action will trigger the "Wakeup", and set the BIOS for what you prefer.

Try to enter in Safe Mode or boot from the original Windows CD
and set a system repair. Sometimes, sistem files are corrupted no matter why. So, in my opinion, boot from the original Windows CD
and then set a system repair or check for a Restore Point. Just in case. Good luck !

Try restarting the computer using Safe mode or Last Known Good Configuration.

Step 1: Turn Off Computer.
Step 2: Power it back on, as soon as you press the power button, keep tapping the F8 button on your keyboard (donot hold it down) until you get a black screen.
Step 3: Select Last Known Good Configuration.

If that fails, Follow step 1 and 2 then select Safe mode.
If that does not work, you will have to reinstall Windows using a Windows Operating Disk (In this Case you will lose all the data that is in your C:/) Drive.

Hi, did you check tension controller ? besides rectifier you have to control voltage and maybe your controller also need replacemente. In order to make sure you can mesure current (in alternate mode) and verify if your sistem is actualy generating enough power

Try to start your computer in safe mode; you do this in this way : Start the computer and press the " F8" button and then you come in a menu mode. Here you choose "start the computer in safe mode". Here you choose to restore your computer in a early date (system restore). You find the app in : Start-All Programs-( Applies )- Sistem Applies- Sistem Restore. You can also find this feature in "help and support" in the start menu.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in.
