Cooke and Lewis multifunction single oven

What does the green light mean to the left of the first knob? It came on tonight while I was cooking and it beeped. Thanks.

If your referring to the light with the squiggle line above it ? this is the power on light (the squiggle line is the universal sign of power ) if your referring to the lights on the functions knob (left knob) there are tiny lights that come on behind these little pictures on there , the pictorgraph on the left side is for the broiler I do believe , this also gives one an option to use the convection fan to spread the heat about inside and evac the food cooking oils from inside the case , a light beep is a confirmation of a feature being issued to be used three long beeps happen when desired oven temp is reached , the knob only activates the feature after knob is set for more than 5 seconds there , this is a little fiddly bit as most folks don't think its workin and keep twisting it about never allowing the timer to complete its cycle

Oven overheating

Set the oven thermostat to 100 degrees ( very low heat) and wait to see if the onen indicator goes off. If it doesn't then the oven thermostat may be faulty. If you have an oven thermometer, then use that to check the oven temperature.

Diplomat Oven ADP3650 Instructions

User manuals are hard to find.
The problem I had was setting the clock on a single Diplomat oven, with no clock button. Here's my solution :

DIPLOMAT OVEN OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Diplomat single oven is controlled by two knobs and a set of buttons along the middle of the control panel.
The left knob sets the temperature of the oven, while the right knob selects the function to be performed, e.g. fan oven, grill, etc.
The buttons along the middle set the cooker clock, the start and end times of cooking, and the “+” and “-“ buttons will increase or decrease the time shown on the cooker’s clock.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OVEN WILL NOT OPERATE UNTIL THE CLOCK IS SET.
If there is any interruption to the power supply (including manually switching off at the main switch) the oven will not operate until the clock is reset.
Here’s how to set the clock:
First press simultaneously the first two buttons to the left of the control panel. They are marked as a Bell symbol (Alarm) , and a steaming Cooking Pot (Start of Cooking Time). Then immediately press the plus “+” or minus “-“ buttons to increase or decrease the time displayed. When the desired time has been reached, leave it for a few seconds, and it will remain set at this time. Any further changes to the displayed time will require this procedure to be repeated.
Hope this helps!

Door is loose

I know what you mean. I was cooking with this appliance tonight and suddenly it displayed an f-3 code. My advantium oven is less than 8 months old. Not sure how this happened or how to fix the problem. In order to sleep tonight (the constant beeping) I had to shut power off at the breaker pannel. Is this representative of the the type of quality that GE stands for???? I am sooo frustrated. I cook with my advantium oven all the time and love the dual abilities of this appliance. Like I said this is brand new and to have the f-3 code which apparently (from what I read) is a failed key pad. I am very dissapointed and am begining to think about pulling my stock from this company!
