The message "No S-video input signal" message displays in the upper right corner of the screen. Pressing the input selection button causes a switch between input 1 and input 2 but input 3 is always illuminated.
This is caused by enabling the PIP "picture in picture" setting for the monitor without having anything plugged into the S-video input. presumably s-video is the default source for the secondary picture and you inadvertently turned the setting on with nothing except for the primary source plugged in. You can turn this setting off by holding down the second from the left button and then clicking through the options until you reach the "off" option (the order is, PIP, PDP, off)
Your S-Video connection is referring to a round plug for a TV input signal. Most computers will not have this connection unless you have a TV based video card. If your using a TV 'monitor' as your computer's video device, their will either be a button on the monitor or your remote to allow you to choose the input signal. If you are using a VGA or HDMI or DVI cable as the connector between the two devices, most likely, the light is referring to one of these, as its video source. You will need to match the cable & monitor source detected to get a usable picture output.
Good luck.
Toby.
