I want to open the power supply box. Do I just pry ito open?

I had the same problem. Pried the box open to reconnect the wire. Used a heavy rubber band to hold it closed afterward. Didn't want to glue it in case I had to open it again.

Kung LCD TV ang unit mo, 3 ang dahilan kung kaya la kang picture.
1. Me pundido kang backlight - kapag me pundido kang backlight kusang pinapatay ng power supply ang inverter board para hindi ma-overload kaya la kang picture. Maaring mong i-check ang backlight, ang palatandaan na ito ay pundido ay kapag me itim sa magkabilang dulo.
2. Sira ang inverter board - ang inverter board ang nagbibigay ng high voltage sa backlight. Kapag sira ito, natural d gagana ang backlight. karamihang sira ng backlight ay ang high voltage transformer, driver transistor o kaya me open na fuse/fusible resistor.
3. Power supply- kapag la supply voltage sa inverter board, la ka rin picture. Mas maganda kung ito ang sira dahil mas madali makhanap ng pyesa dyan sa lugar mo di katulad ng 2 nauna.
Kung me kakilala kang technician dyan malapit sa lugar nyo, patingnan mo yong mga sinabi ko. Maari ring dahil sa loose connection kaya la ka picture o kaya bad solder joints.

The front cover is glued to the wood box.

You need to be very carefull with this job as there are risks of injury.

With a sturdy box cutter carefully make repeated passes with the tip of the (long) blade between the wood case and the front cover. It will only penetrate 3/16 to 1/4 in when finished. You will feel it when you reach plastic through the glue. When you are satisfied that all the glue between the side of the box and the cover is sliced, insert a flat tip screwdriver between the power cord and the wood frame to pry the cover off. Work slowly around the buttom so the marring in the plastic does not show too much. (yes you cannot avoid it) And be carefull that it does not shut closed on your fingers. Once you have some space opened you can use a flat blade to keep it open while you work around the other sides. A long flat tip screwdriver can be used to reach the opposite side to pry from the inside.
To remove the PCB from the front cover pry off the connector cover from the side of the front cover then pry that side away from the knobs to be able to lift the board straight out. It does not come our at an angle. Good luck and be carefull with the knife.

you will need to go ito your modem/routers settinngs oen internet browser type 192.168.1.254 then go to wireless then custom services open the box then scroll down to the bottom and select box live the another screen comes up with a box in it open it an select the bottom one it will be your xbox

I have just opened an HP W1907. It does not open from the back like Dell!!! The black plastic bezel with the HP logo on the front must be removed.I pried mine lose and broke most of the plastic nibs that hold it in place. From examining the bezel, it appears the a thin hook should be slipped in between it and the light gray plastic then pry up the back of the black bezel. The nibs on the black plastic bezel are facing downward and you must somehow lift them up and over the matching locks on gray piece. If you pry on the black back piece, as in Dell, you will break off four post the have screws put in from the front.

I have same set with same problem, no power. I just opened up the rear of the unit, where all of the circuitry is, and let loose a can of compressed air and cleaned off all of the caked on dust and dirt that had accumulated from the previous owner. And i mean let loose, make sure every surface you can see is spotless, and avoid blowing the dust up and ito the lenses, then I kept hitting the power button a few times, and it turned on and is working fine now.

I turned it on and off about ten times now and haven't had a problem.
