How do I create a group for sending emails - Samsung Galaxy S GTI9000 Smartphone

Did you try to just click reply to those group emails?
If that does not work, you may need to create yahoo group in your contacts and when selecting option who to send to - choose that group.

A group distribution list is a group of contacts that you create that you will then use to distribute (send) the same information to (email). so if you set up a family group, a department group and a company wide group you can then send one email to everyone in your family, department or company.

Using your contacts create a "Group" then add members to the "Group". When you send from the "Group" you will no longer see the individual email addresses.

The exact steps may vary slightly based on what program or website you are using as your email provider, however, I will try to give you a general idea:

If you are going to send a lot of pictures at once, you might want to create a .zip file by putting them all in one folder, then right-clicking on that folder and clicking "Send to>>Compressed (zipped) folder". This will create a new, single file that has all of the images in it. This will make it easier to send.

Open your email and create a new message. Click the attachment button. Click browse, then select the zipped file on your computer (it will be wherever you created it, Desktop, My Documents, etc.). Click Add to email. Once you see the zipped file showing under attachments on your email, you are ready to send the email.

It's hard to be certain without being able to see the list of contacts, but something small like an additional space or comma could be causing the problem.

An excellent way of verifying if there is a formatting problem or if Yahoo mail is the issue, is to create an email and select the contacts in your group manually from your contacts list. If the email sends this way, then there is a bug with the Yahoo mail group system that you would be able to report. If the email won't send for the same reason, then there is likely a tiny flaw in your formatting.

unfortunately in samsung j700...doesn't provide the facility u mentioned
but it allows user to assign particular ringtone and callerid for some group of contacts...
the group may have 1 or more contacts so saving each contacts in each seperate group may indirectly met ur requirement

By creating groups of contacts, you can assign
ringtones and caller ID photos to each group or send
messages and emails to an entire group. Start by
creating a group:
1. In Idle mode, press <Menu> → Phonebook →
Group → <Options> → Add.
2. Enter a group name and scroll down.
3. To set the caller ID image, press the Centre key
→ an image category → an image.
4. To set a group ringtone, scroll down and press
the Centre key → a ringtone category → a
ringtone.
5. Press <Save>.

If you just want to send them emails, click on "friends" near the top on the left side of the home screen. Once there, you will see a button for "create new list." One thing to remember though, you can only create lists of your friends. Another idea would be to start a group. Groups are in your app bookmarks and you can just follow the instructions provided to set up the group. From there you can send invites to join to anyone, even if they are not your friends, or do not have Facebook accounts. Then, once people have joined the group, you can send mass emails, or updates to their Facebook inboxes (and other email, depending on their own personal preferences and settings).

you can find list option under message tab , using that first create a list , then add your contact details in that list ,while sending message you can opt to send to group or list ,so that you can send to many at same time using group text

Firstly creat a group from NEW''

Then add all the recipients into the group with email address

When you want to send mail call up the group name say musicgroup or whatever you named it and write the content into it and just send. it will send a coipy to all members in that group
