Zanussi ZWD 1271 W - Error 33 (E33) machine drains after approx. 6 minutes of cycle - skips from 'wash' to 'drain' in the progress bar. Replaced with a new variable thermostat - hasn't worked! Help!

Sounds like a slow drain problem.
It would be suggested to check the drain hose, the filter and pump, and maybe replace the pressure switch if that does not work.
Sequence:
1. open up the filter and clean it
2. check the drain hose, and let it drain out freely into a bucket
3. run the machine without clothing to see if it starts working again
4. check if the pump runs
5. replace the pump line pressure switch.
If it still does not work, consider buying another machine, since the cost of the logic board is significant. (maybe the machine is old enough and needs to be replaced)

Possible defective washer control panel.

Just one thought. Have you unplugged the washer for a few seconds then plugged it back in? It's possible the "brain" needs to be reset.

REMOVE POCKET BY TIPPING MAHINE BACKWARDS. I HAVE SEEN ****** STICKS TO TOYS JAMMED IN POCKET.

Story could be lengthly so in brief, check to see if drain pump is not blocked and if door latch is functioning correctly.(use a multimeter if you can). If it all measures out as good, then your control is faulty. Does the water fill up to the correct level when you start the cycle? Does the motor hum when trying to run. If so check the capacitor.

Did you fix this problem? We have the same with Zanussi ZWD 1472 W. It takes some water and stops after 2 minutes. We need to shut machine down and fill water manually. It works fine then.

does not drain,does notspin drum not turning,belt intact,shown e20 at one stage,is this the motor?
