One way That I can think of is burning the video on a DVD or Blu-ray disc and then play the disc on your TV through a DVD or Blu-ray player. Here is exactly how you can burn a video onto a DVD/Blu-ray disc How to Convert and Burn MKV to Blu ray with Subtitle
If you have a netflix account, you can use the netflix app. Or if you are an xfinity user, you can download the xfinity tv app, sign in with your details and youre good. Now if you want to watch movies added on your phone, you can download the VLC app. But if the movie format is not supported like the mkv format, you might need to convert them.
If you are using a pc to watch Netflix, you need a compatible browser, not all browser can stream from Netflix. The most used browser for this is Chrome. Open Chrome, go to Netflix website, search for the movie and just click, it should be able to play.
I know with netflix on a tv you click the left arrow key to go back to first screen; where you chose that movie. Then click play and it would start all over again.
it may help to go back to the start page where to movie was available. In most cases clicking the left button of a mouse brings up a sub list that may have the answer.
There are SEVERAL services out there now other than Netflix if you are looking for a movies that you don't see on Netflix. I highly suggest a Smart TV with apps on it already. Amazon Prime is one kind of service with Netflix does not have it. Sometime Hulu Plus is another.
You cannot download movies to your Vizio streaming device. Do you download the moves you watch on TV ? Of course not. A TV allows you to watch movies, shows, etc.BROADCAST OVER THE AIRWAVES OR CABLE. Similarly, a streaming device allows you to watch movie, shows, etc. STREAMED/TRANSMITTED OVER THE INTERNET. So, if you can watch Netflix trailers on your Vizio, you can watch Netflix movies (but not download them). Select a Netflix movie, press Play on your remote and see what happens.
You didn't watch the trailer. It depends on your tv, i just press the back button and I get the choice of removing, adding to list. When it comes up again I get a choice resume or start from beginning.
