I´m giving suppor to a Zebra Z4M Plus printer, and I find that when I try to reset the printer to the default values, I´m requested to type the password, and I use the default one (1234 as the manual says) and it doesn´t work. And if I change any value to any setting, and I select to chance to DEFAULT OPTIONS, nothing happens, the display turns back to the main menu. What would this be all about?
After you reset to default settings you need to save changes for it to take effect. there is also another password. 1234 will only take you to level 2 you need the level 3 password. this password can be found in the service manuals and some of the full manuals
