Page 46 in your manual: there is more info about messaging here. Voicemail Menu 2.8 This menu provides you with a quick way of accessing your voice mailbox (if provided by your network). Before using this feature, you must enter the voice server number obtained from your service provider. This may already be available; to check the voicemail, press and hold the key. When new voicemail is received, the symbol will be displayed on the screen. n Note Please check with your network service provider for details of their service in order to configure the handset accordingly.
Hope this helps, let me know if I can do anything else for you. JimmyC
Call customer service something odd is happening you don't need to re-set up voicemail moving your SIM from one phone to another. If the phone is one not from your carrier it might not be programmed for your carrier's number when you press and hold 1 to dial voicemail
To get the PUK code for the LG Shine, you need to call 1-800-331-0500 which is customer support. Tell them you have a lg shine and need the puk code. They will ask your phone number with area code, the last 4 digits of the ss# on that account.
They will supplie the code to you and your phone will be free. If you enter in the wrong code too many times, You'll end up having to buy a New SIM Card!
Alright so I had the same problem. My solution that works most of the time is this: while bluetooth is off, in the phone, go to menu, bluetooth, settings, and play around with the device name (instead of LG TU 720 make it LG TU or fucklg for instance) pretty much anything should do.. change the memory storage maybe between memory card and handset.. try turning the phone off and taking out the battery too, maybe even the sim card if you're really desperate, or all of the things i just mentioned in order. Replace everything, reboot, turn on bluetooth and try pairing.. This works with my plantronics headset now (there was a good few months where i gave up on it). It's a pain in the *** but it gets the job done for me... try it out.
Go to Main menu, then "Messaging". Within Messaging go down to "Message Settings". #3 is voicemail. click voicemail and you will be able to edit the number.
there is only one thing i can think of doing, go to car phone shop that sells the phone, have a look at the numbers to the left of all the menus and go from there. it will say For Example, contacts would be 6, copy contacts would be 5 and so on.
i have the same problem and i dont know the right numbers so........
but if i find out soon ill let ya know
