HOW DO I FIX MY LG 42LE5300 TV?

ONCE WE TURN TV ON, GOES DARK (DOING FLASHLIGHT TEST, WE CAN SEE IMAGE), AND THERE'S NO BACKLIGHTS. I BELIEVE THAT COULD BE A BACK LIGHT INVERTER PROBLEM. PLEASE CONFIRM.

Check LED Back light Driver circuit first. If LED Back light Driver circuit is not producing drive voltage, try to repair and if you haven't any experience of electronics repair, replace PSU board because LED Back light Driver circuit is built-in with PSU. If LED Back light Driver circuit is working, check LED Back light strips, one of the LED is faulty in the LED Back light strip. Replace LED Back light strip to solve your problem.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

Some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.

LG 47LN5750 No picture

If you have backlights its not going to be the tcon for future reference. you have some shorted or open LEDs in the panel. Check the voltage going to the LED sets, should be 100 plus volts

LG TV 55LW5300 won't turn on. Ref light comes on flashes, turns blue, and then goes off. No picture or sound, except the click sound that I normally hear when the TV turns on and off.

You need to do some troubleshooting first. Turn the TV on make sure the room is dark take a good flashlight and shine it at the screen and flip through the HDMI inputs. if you don't see an image then it's most likely your main board you can have that fixed or repaired at pts electronics. If you do see an image then the backlights aren't working and you need to check the outputs to the backlights at the main board. The TV is worth fixing

Corrupt data?

Try the flashlight screen test with TV on to be sure an image is showing, hold flashlight above at an angle, if you see a faint image the motherboard needs replacing
