The error code E0-F2 indicates that your touchpad has a stuck key. You might try disconnecting the electricity from the range and pushing and releasing the buttons on the touchpad several times. Be aware as you push them of any button that feels different. If you notice one that is stiffer or just doesn't feel like the others, give it several more pushes. Worst case scenario, you will need to replace the touchpad.

What is the eo f2 error code mean on a whirlpool oven

E0 F2 is a stuck key on the keypad. If your keypad is not available from the factory you may find a replacement unit here: http://www.fixyourboard.com/ledgestone.html

EO F2 The oven will not start or stop. I can not get the oven to work but it will beep with this EO F2 message sometimes.

Hello Sonya,
The E0-F2 error code means that the oven temperature was higher than it's supposed to be. Usually the oven overheats because of a defective oven temperature sensor and the sensor should be checked. 11_3_2011_2_07_54_pm.jpgthis is what the sensor looks like...it is located within the oven chamber(usually in the left side) to check it,it needs to unplugged and using a mulitmeter set to measure ohms, check the sensor to be between 1060-1100 ohms at room temp. if the sensor is way lower/higher that 1060-1100 at room temp the sensor is bad and needs to be replaced, if the sensor is within that range then the control board is the problem.

I have a new Whirlpool Built-in electric wall oven. I just installed it. The read out says EO F2. What does that mean?

EO-F2 means shorted touchpad.

Try pressing the CANCEL button to see if this clears it otherwise you will need a replacement touchpad.

Blinking EO and F2

1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

EO F2 on our Kenmore oven keeps coming up.

The "F2 - E0" error code means "Shorted keypad".

Remove power from the range, open the control panel and unplug the membrane switch ribbon from the control board.Reconnect power to the range and observe for an hour.If the error code reappear - replace the control board. If not - replace the membrane switch.

EO F2 Lock message on oven panel

The solution was to hold down the "start" button for five seconds, which reset the system. I figured out that I had entered the model number of my oven wrong (mistaking a "Z" for a "2"). When I re-entered the correct model number in the "search for manual" section of the Whirlpool site, I was able to access the user manual and find the section that walked me through the correction.
