If the boot of your 2012 Subaru Liberty is not locking, it could be due to a blown fuse. Here are the steps to check and replace the fuse:

1. Locate the fuse box in your vehicle. The fuse box is usually located on the driver's side of the vehicle, under the dashboard.
2. Open the fuse box and locate the fuse for the boot lock. The location and labeling of the fuse may vary depending on your vehicle model and year. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the specific fuse location and labeling.
3. Check the fuse to see if it is blown. A blown fuse will have a broken wire inside or the fuse element will appear melted. If the fuse is intact, it may not be the cause of the problem.

A blown fuse is an indication of circuit overload. Did you replace the fuse with one of the same value or higher? is this the standard current rating for that circuit (usually marked on the fuse cover.

If the engine cranks remove a spark plug tape it to the intake manifold or somewhere where there is clean bare metal (please not near the battery) check for spark if ok reinstall plug if not replace the ECM fuse and relay with alternatives in the fuse box if this gets the pump going replace the ECM fuse and or relay then check for fuel turn on the ignition you should hear the pump run and then shutoff if not replace the pump fuse and relay with alternatives in the fuse box if this gets the pump going replace the pump fuse and or relay

REPLACEMENT

1. Locate the fuse for the circuit in question. NOTE: When replacing the fuse, always use a replacement fuse of the same amperage value. NEVER use one with a higher amperage rating. On some vehicles, you may have to remove a cover for access to the main fuse block
   The fuse panel cover has a label with the fuse designations on it
   
   
2. Check the fuse by pulling it from the fuse block and observing the element. If it is broken, install a replacement fuse the same amperage rating. If the fuse blows again, check the circuit for a short to ground or faulty device in the circuit protected by the fuse. Locate the fuse which needs to be checked . . .
   . . . then pull it out of the fuse block

   Fig. 3: Visual examination will reveal a blown fuse, but it should not be replaced until repairs are made
   
   
3. Continuity can also be checked with the fuse installed in the fuse block with the use of a test light connected across the 2 test points on the end of the fuse. If the test light lights, replace the fuse. Check the circuit for a short to ground or faulty device in the circuit protected by the fuse.

the fuse in my lg refrigorator is burned out how do i replace it?

Just did this on my 2002 C320. The blue 15 amp fuse is located in the front fuse box under the hood. It is either #47 or 48. If you already opened the driver-side fuse box, see if the paper fuse map is still there. If it is, find the fuse to be sure. Replacement is very easy, but there is a fuse puller tool in the spare tire well where your kit of replacement fuses should be. if you are in luck and you have a replacement, use the puller tool and replace the fuse.
