I just got this watch but the alarm function doesn't seem to work after following the manual's instruction and trying it several times? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

For the AD0802 watch, press MODE until the standard time appears, then press START/STOP to set the time and date. In that state, press RESET to change the current setting (hold it to scan values) and MODE to move to the next setting (seconds, then hour, minutes, year, month and day of the month in that order). Press START/STOP again to exit time setting mode. At any time while in time-setting mode, you can press the LIGHT button to toggle 24hour time on and off (the 24H indicator will turn on and off to show the current mode).

I contacted both the eBay seller of the watch and the watch maker and what I got back was a complete joke so I figured it out and made my own manual but there doesn't seem to be any way to attach it to this posting.

If you haven't got a manual and there are no stockists in your locality, then try the following (based on other similar watches).

Press the mode button several times until you come the alarm function. There should be an hourly alarm or beep alarm or something similar (they are likely to be abbreviated), so you may have to play detective.

When you think you have the correct setting (beep ON?) press one of the other buttons to see if they change ON to OFF.

When you are satisfied with the setting press the mode button to return to normal operations.

go to the citizen watch website and look for the e870 instruction manual. Look for the "all reset" function and perform.

The watch must be fully charged, and then perform instructions. It may have been jarred or emf may have hindered its process.

Try it and see if this corrects your problem.

As with many watch manufacture houses novadays watch technology differs from house to house. Tissot is no difference as T-series watches was developed by Tissot itself.
You have to follow the steps one by one as instructed in your watch manual. Probably you will need reset your watch completely, depending what actions you've allready done.
In case if you lost your watch manual, go to www.tissot.ch and find out everything you need.
