Are you getting the red led light? If not, please check the power outlet for any loose contacts. Try the TV on some other power outlet. If the TV does not work still, cool it off for 48 hours, after removing the plug and retry.
More likely to have power supply module failure, that will be the first place to look.
Most common failures in PLASMA TV are due to bad power supply module, Z and Y Sustain modules.
Try connecting the TV directly to a different wall outlet and check. If the issue persists, try power resetting the TV. Turn Off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet for 1 minute and reconnect it and check the operation. If the issue persists, then the TV requires service.
Hi, Red led blinks 4 times is an error code that shows that fan is not running in tv, check fans connections and make sure all are plugged properly. Thanks.
When Lamp of the TV has been blown out, the LAMP light blinks in red. When there is an internal malfunction in the TV, the Power led blinks and there will not be any picture on the screen. Since, both are happening with your TV, it seems that there is an internal malfunction. Hence, your TV requires service.
You may try the following troubleshooting steps before getting the TV serviced.
Disconnect the Power cord from the Wall outlet and connect it to a different working wall outlet. Disconnect surge protectors if you are using. Then try resetting the TV to the Factory default settings to check whether the issue is resolved.
Now,u plug in the tv u get a solid red standby power red LED light in the front of the LCD panel right? When u push the power button on the remote u hear a clicking sound?Only one clicking sound, not the power supply board problems. It the Tuner board problems. But u can make sure it the power board problems or not.By taking the tv aparts check the power board, that board where the a/c power cord goes into it.Look all around the power supply board check for these leakage capacitors, they alway bulges up it top or puff up it top.No bad leakage capacitors, then it not the power supply board problems.
Try plugging the tv in a different outlet in the strip. Maybe the outlet it was plugged in during the surge got fried. I would bet thought the fuse on the power supply has blown and needs replaced. You will have to take the back cover off of the tv to find the power supply. Good Luck!!!! Hope this helps.
