Cranks, runs @ 30 seconds and quits. wont restart until cold again

Sounds like you are starved for fuel. Look for a pinched off fuel line or a plugged up fuel filter. That would be my first place to start. Possibly even a bad petcock on the tank.

The first thing you do is read the OBD2 fault codes and check the fuel pressure when it fails to start.

You might try and remove the anti theft system. If that doesn't work try to disconnect the battery until the system resets itself. BTW howdoes it run? Is it in good shape otherewise?

sounds like you have a fuel pump problem, fuel pumps will usually get hot and then shut off allowing it to sit 30 mins lets the pump cool down allowing it to start pumping, the way you can test it is get a can of starting fluid the next time it quits raise your hood and spray some fluid down into the throttle body and if it starts and then dies it is most likely your fuel pump, hope this helps.

had the same problem...check the crankshaft positioning sensor.usually located where the tranny bolts to the engine with a cable coming up and connecting at the firewall

sounds to me like your check valve in fuel line is not working. If you have the original lift pump it located in there.

You have a cam or crank sensor that has gone out.

check the spark went is not working some times the crank sensor fails went is hot

Sounds like the old nikasil problem.Remove all of the spark plugs and squirt oil down each bore,replace plugs and she should fire up.
