Model 6212. Where can I get a manual? - Singer Sewing Machines

The Singer 6212 has a number of points that need oil. See page 33 (page 34 of the PDF) of the manual. The oil needs to be on the moving parts of the needle bar, the thread take-up mechanism, and in the bobbin case. If the tension dial knob is falling off, generally you would have difficulty adjusting the tension. I would suggest taking your machine for service.

What makes you think you need to adjusting the timing? What is it doing or not doing?

I'm not sure what you're referring to. Are you talking about the feed dogs?

The housing of the bobbin was loose. Just tighten the screw then problem was fixed for the problem "needle won't pick up bobbin thread" with my Singer 6212.

Thge most common fault is the needle plate is not on properly if you have a magnetic plate, you may have a drop feed mechanism in the bobbin case area.
