I can't find a manual for it, but normally you don't search for 'Channels'. The DVD Player is connected via an HDMI socket in the television and you use the Source or Input Button on the Remote to find the HDMI Socket that the DVD player is connected to. They are normally number on the set HDMI 1, HDMI 2 etc., As you click through, you will see the HDMI input number flashed on the screen.
hi try using RCA cables to make sure youre connections r not the problem..plug the rca cables n the output of dvd then into tv input & set tv input to AV .good luck
Flat screens normally have 3 different inputs from tv. Regular is tv coax cable, then audio/picture by using special rca cables, then last HDMI. You can use any of those inputs except hdmi because you already are using that input. You may be able to buy a hdmi splitting device that will allow both the tv and the player to input to the single hdmi input. Check Radio Shack or Wal-Mart.
You can try to connect the DVD and the TV with a HDMI cable. after this, you have to disable the sound from the TV's speakers and enable the sound from the DVD.
