Hello. Normally the ignitors WILL all start sparking--only the burner you've initiated will turn on. All the ignitors are wired together with a harness underneath the cooktop. This harness is connected to a spark module and when you choose whichever burner, it simply energizes the module. Only the burner with gas flowing will ignite. I hope this helps you!
SOURCE: Stove burner igniter does not work.
Your problem is not the igniter itself, but the burner switch that controls the igniter. All the igniters get their power from one spark module that is mounted somewhere in back of the oven. That's why you are able to get all the igniters to spark with only one burner control turned on. This is normal. That is also why you are able to light the burner in question buy turning on another burner. The spark is being provided by a switch that is working. To answer your question: the igniter is removable, but I don't think it's necessary. Cleaning them generally doesn't make them work better. I would check the wiring from the spark module to the burner switch and/or replace the switch. I hope this helps.

Your electronic oven control (clock) has failed. This being a new appliance, it will be covered under warranty. Call the dealer and ask for the manufacturers warranty/customer service phone number or ask if the dealer provides warranty service. You will need to provide them with the Model and Serial number to obtain service, so have this ready when you call. After service is complete, please connect your oven to a quality surge suppression/arrestor device. We recommend these... http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=124911 , they can be found here... http://www.belkin.com/wheretobuy/show.aspx?pid=&targ=19&ttr=3e86a31d-23dd-4b8d-acbf-2adf1ce9ecc0&cid=1

Hi
Just to say we sorted the problem. Simply the bulb was out in the one oven. We replaced this and problem solved.

Replaced the ignitor on mine 10 mins ago.... Works like it's brand new. You have to remove the bake pan in the bottom of the stove, remove the drawer, and the sheet metal shield protection the connection. Entire job was 10 mins.
SOURCE: Amana gas oven not working
The ignitor may be too weak to open the gas valve. If you have a volt/ohm meter capable of reading AMPS you can hook up to a ignitor wire and turn the oven ON. If you read less than 3.5 amps replace the ignitor. If 3.5 amps or more are read, replace the gas valve.
