dual time. You can set the inner hand with 24 hr markings for other time zone. So regular hands for your local time and inner hand for other country or time zone.
These basic instructions are for most digital watches (and these are for regular to military but you can just follow same instructions to get to oposite) Hope this helps!
Press the "MODE" button---usually on the lower left side of the watch, but sometimes on the right center side---to cycle through to the time display.
Press and hold the "SET" button---usually on the right lower side of the watch---until the seconds flash.
Press "MODE" repeatedly to cycle through the displays that flash: from hours to minutes to month to date and day. At the end of the cycle is the hour display option. Make this option flash.
Press the "SPLIT/RESET" button below the face of the watch to change the hour display option to "24-hour display." This is the same as military time. If there is a "NEXT" button on the upper-right side of the watch, use this to advance to the 24-hour option instead of using the "SPLIT/RESET" button. You may need to press a "START/SPLIT" button instead a "SPLIT/RESET" button to cycle between 12- and 24-hour display. The "START/SPLIT" button could be located below the watch face or on the upper-right side of the watch, depending on the model.
Press the "SET" button again. You are now done. All PM hours should be displaying hours between 12 and 23.
jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){
var $this = jQuery(this);
$this.find('img').error(function(){
jQuery(this).remove();
$this.remove();
});
});
Yours is the original GMT Master. The GMT Master II allows the GMT hand and the regular hour hand to be set differently but not on your older model. On yours, the regular hour hand the the GMT hand are fixed so that if the triangle on the rotating bezel is at the top, the GMT hand will indicate local time. To indicate time in a 2nd timezone, rotate the bezel to orient the time to the GMT hand. There's a copy of the original instructions posted at:

I too was confused at first at setting the second hand after reading the directions. I read your post in searching for a solution, then I figured it out. Check the watch face, the second hand is operating using military time. (24 hr. time) You will see 24 hour time embedded on the face.
For example: if you wanted to set both hands to be at the same time to test this. At say 10 p.m. set the second time hand to 22 for 2200 hrs. (10 p.m.) Let's say you woke up at 7 a.m. The second hand would be at 0700 (Embedded on watch face) then at noon it would say 1200 on the watch face... I now use the normal hands for local time and set the 24 hour hand for my home time.
I hope this helps.
Simply unscrew the crown and then turn it clockwise (or counter-clockwise). The 24-hour hand should jump one hour at a time in either direction. If you pull the crown out to the next notch, the date will change. If you pull the crown to the 3rd position, it will set the regular hour and the minute hand.
press mode button 3 times untill you get into the time set mode - press lap/reset twice until the hours start to blink.
press start/stop and cycle thru all the modes depending what time you want to set - it will go thru 1, 2, 3, etc thru 24 H then 1, 2, 3, etc thru 12 A then 1, 2, 3, etc thru 12 P - depending on thte time you want to set the A is for AM and the P is for PM
Hello I have the same watch and had the same problem. You press the mode button till you get to the point to change the main time, you then press the reset button (bottom button on right side of the watch)to toggle to the hour place, you then cycle thru the time untill the "h" in the top right hand corners disappears and then the watch will be back on regular time.
