Firmware upgrade failed

Similar problem on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 when trying to upgrade to Kit Kat 4.4.2. Since my device had been rooted is registered as "Modified". There were dozens of posts instructing me to download drivers and decompilers and more software to trick the update server into seeing my tablet as "Official". Since a firmware upgrade will unroot the device anyway I simply used KEIS connecting with USB and it was effortless. Just make sure your device has at least 50% battery.

Samsung tablet note 2 won't turn on

Steven,
I am not an expert with the Galaxy Note since I just own a Galaxy 2 Tab. But I have some suggestions.
Have you recently updated Android? If so your problem may be due to an error in the updated code. Solution: Contact Samsung to report your problem. If your problem is not unique, then you will have to wait until the software is fixed and the new update becomes available; this was my problem {I could not shutdown my Galaxy; after the shutdown it would just do a restart. I let the battery run down completely and stored the Galaxy for over month, waiting for the software upgrade. When I was notified of the upgrade, I installed the upgrade and everything was fixed.}
If you are impatient, search the web for how to "reset" your device by holding down the power on/off switch and the +key volume, if I remember correctly. This will put you in a kind-of debug mode. Don't rely on my directions but google this until you get the complete procedure so you do it correctly and you have some understanding of what you are doing.
Hope this is helpful even though it is not "the" solution to your particular problem.

Wifi for my Tablet

Thank you for the Video, this made it much easier for me to determine the problem. You are correct, you have WiFi, this is not the problem, the problem is with the Tablet's WiFi Service which is freezing, thus not causing you to access WiFi.

Have you installed any new software lately? Something has broken the WiFi software on your Tablet. If you installed a new App recently, remove it to see if that new App broke your WiFi software on your Tablet. If you have not installed anything new on the Tablet maybe the manufacture downloaded an update that broke the WiFi on the Tablet. If you recently received an Software update from the manufature, let perform a Factory Resetr on the tablet to fix the issue.

Hi,

Good day. I''m afraid you might have accidentally got the Operating System of your Samsung Tab corrupted. Im referring to your firmware. Usually if the firmware upgrade failed you need to retry it until it be successful. If you restart it or discontinue the process it will cause your Samsung Tab to be corrupted resulting into failure of the boot up process. You might need to contact samsung tech support for this or bring your equipment to the nearest center. They might need to check the software install and usually their software specialist will fix it for you. Sorry for what happen with your tab but i know the samsung repair center can fix it for you. Hope this information will be helpful to you. Have a great day.
