Need to turn off the alarm on my Samsung SRL551DP FRIDGE it refuses to change from 9 degrees and alarm keeps going off

modern fridges do not like power surges as it burns the electronics
call in a technician to check it out and put a surge protection in the power supply cord

the alarm indicate that the door is open
check the door switch and check if the door press the switch or not
I think the door latch didn't reach the switch

HI.JAMES. shot in the dark.it might work for a quick cheap fix.ok 1-get a 24 hour ac plug in timer.plug fridge into it.set timer to run for 4 hours and off for 10 minutes.it might work.let me know if it does.better then PCBs and sensors etc.good luck.ali

Even though this video shows a different refrigerator model, I have seen this with Samsung refrigerators (mine for example). I hope this helps.

i'm got a Samsung RSH1DTMH side by side and its doing the same thing. it seems to be once a week. Last night i opened it to get a drink about 23:30, and then dealt with the alarm, reset 10-15 minutes until 01:30 and then said "F-it" at that point i didnt care if i lost everything i n it. it stayed at -25 in freezer all night, +7 (set to +3) in fridge all lights on, normal operation noises. WHAT THE F GIVES SAMSUNGGGGGGG
