How do I reset the pin # for the bluetooth on JVC KD-A815?

This unit is installed in my used car and I when I try to link it to my phone I get a message on my phone that the PIN # or Pass Key is incorrect. I have reset the device and used the 0000 code in the manual but I still get the same message.

Hi, same problem (v3.80), but finally conected. I would say that is related with bluetooth name length of the phone.
Try setting the phon's name to something smaller.

What is bluetooth adaptor for jvc kd s28

According to the installation manual for the KD-S28, the bluetooth adapter is KS-BTA100. You can find this on page 2 of the installation manual which is available from JVC's support page: http://books.jvc.com/ . Enter the model number and click the Model Search button. The direct link to the installation manual is http://books.jvc.com/Download/119824748/GET0754-002A.pdf .

I hope this helps. Amazon has a couple of the adapters for sale: https://www.amazon.com/JVC-KSBTA100-Add-On-Bluetooth-Adapter/dp/B004REMUJE . Other vendors do not report having this in stock.

How to use jvc kd-hdr20 car stereo. I need to know how to fix balance, bass, bluetooth, ect.

To pair a bluetooth device with the radio, turn on the Bluetooth function of the device. Then press the SRC (source) button on the receiver. Select BT Audio or BT Phone, depending on the device you want to pair with the radio. Use the up/down arrows to select New Device and press the down arrow. Select Open and then press the down arrow. Then enter the PIN by using the left/right arrows to select a digit and turning the volume knob until the correct digit is entered. (For some devices, you need to enter a specific PIN. Consult that device's manual.) Press the down arrow to set the PIN. Enter the PIN in the device you are pairing to the receiver (if it doesn't have a required PIN). Wait for the message "Connected" to appear.

To use the device in the future, press SRC and choose the appropriate Bluetooth type. Then use the right/left arrows to select the registered device. Press the down arrow and then use the right/left arrows to select Connect and press the down arrow. (See the manual, link below, for setting the autoconnect or autoanswer.)

To adjust the sound system balance, press and hold Menu to open the menu and then turn the volume knob to Audio. Press the center of the Volume knob. Then navigate to balance and adjust the unit as needed.

The manual for the KD-HDR20 is available from JVC on the product support page: http://support.jvc.com/consumer/product.jsp?archive=true&pathId=54&modelId=MODL028465 . The direct link to the instruction manual is http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/01/14/LVT1960-001A.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Bluetooth turn on

Hello imback2009,

The JVC KD-G140 does not have a Bluetooth option, either built-in or with an adapter. And as far as I can tell, it doesn't have a "mute" or "phone" wire which would allow installation of a generic bluetooth adapter, such as the Parrot. If you want to connect your cellphone, I'd recommend you look at an upgrade here.

Hope this helps.
