SOURCE: I cannot make a wi-fi connection
are you that ******* stupid that you think that blackberrys have wifi you ignorant lowlife ***** you cheap ***** blackberrys do not have wi fi you better go to a low quality iphone with that **** you have been dismissed wiht your stale ***
Ok! This is what I found out personally. The Wi-Fi connection needs to be a non-hot Wi-Fi network. Meaning certain Wi-Fi connections has a security lock preventing any file transfers. I tried several locations to make a connection (Coffee shops, Mc D's, Library, Work, etc.). The Best way to connect your Literati is to find a friend who has a Wi-Fi router and ask him/her of their password temporarily.
Now you need to enable the Wi-Fi under the settings area by hitting the menu button and scroll down to the settings tab. select the Wi-Fi or wireless option. Enable the Wi-Fi and your unit should start scanning the area networks. This is where you'll find your friends link or an open unsecure network. Do not select any links that have a pad lock unless you know there password. Once you join, wait about 1 minute and the unit will prompt you to update the software.
Now! The software version you need to have is version 1.9 or greater. After you upload the software patches which should take two or 3 times (Including restarts & power offs).
After this point you will need to set up an account thru the KOBO website ether using your PC or the Literati under the store tab. Once your setup with an email account it should display itself under the overview area on your literati under settings. From here it all downhill...
