Unplug cable at both ends. remove cover from t-stat. using contact cleaner spray contacts on cable and points it connects to. if necessary replace t-stat and cable

I BELIEVE ITS A CONTROL BOARD ERROR CODE ERROR CODE DEFINITION:Communication error between the main control board module - and display control module. WHAT TO FIX/CHECK/REPLACE: Remove power to the refrigerator and reconnect any loose or non-secure connections on the wire harness for the main control board module and the display control module.
-Remove and Replace the wire harness if faulty.
-Inspect the main control board module and the display control module if faulty. PARTS THAT MAY NEED TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED: Main Control Board Module -

Try this. Turn off thermostat. Wait for no display on lcd. Hold + and mode at same time for 3 seconds. Lcd should display - - Turn on as usual. If that dosnt work you have a cabling issue between thermostat and main board. Possible bit rare component failure. If all is installed correctly.
