Charger just workrd at my neighbors, doesn't even make a sound whwn i plug it into my cart. why does it not take a charge?

Measure your total battery voltage. That is measured across the main positive cable and the main negative cable. If you have a 48 volt golf cart and an automatic charger, any pack voltage under 42 volts will not turn the charger on. Your only recourse then would be to charge one battery at a time until you get 42 or higher.

How do you check output voltage from generator to battery in an club car golf cart

if you look at the charger plug there is a small switch it can either be held down with the cover off or with it on. It should read you between 48 and 50 volts DC with that switch in that switch will keep you from charging the batteries if it is faulty. These chargers are really rather simple and golf cart King has the motherboards cheaper than anywhere else that you can buy them. A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if answer is helpful for your question. THANK you and GOD BLESS

36 volt ezgo

First of all, lift rear axle off the ground and place blocks or jack stands underneath. Check to see if you have 36 volts On your batteries. Now you want to run a jumper across the big cables on the solenoid. Press the accelerator and the motor should engage. Clicking is a pretty sure sign that the solenoid is bad. Please let me know if this is useful. I can further elaborate more troubleshooting if this doesn't solve your problem.
