A failed inlet valve is not uncommon in F&P machines. The hot valve is different to the cold one, so don't exchange them. Not a big job for a tech to do in-laundry. Good luck....Nomess
I have a problem with my MW512AU. Sometimes it drains after wash cycle, but sometimes it sticks when it goes to spin, doesn't get up to speed, water comes on for about 10 seconds and shuts off, and it tries to spin again. If I hit the wash progress switch it goes directly to final spin and works ok. I then have to run a 2nd wash cycle to rinse the clothes. I also noticed a buzzing sound when I turn on the power point, which lasts about 3 seconds before stopping. It will come back on every 3-4 minutes for 30 seconds. This is with the machine power switch off. It powers on normally.
You have a leak. When the bottom sensor detects the wetness, it won't allow to start.
Pull out the tube put some small tower unser the tube to dry out water.
Unplag power cord for 24 hrs to let the sensor dry out.
Then you will be able to start.
However if you don't replace the lid seal the leak will happen everytime a cycle starts and you will have the same problem over and over again. Good luck to fix the lid seal.
pour some vinger in and run it thru a few cycle this will flujsh it out also if you have a hot tub supply store near you can buy a bottle of Foam Down and that will cut the bubbles down so you can wash again
