First 1) Connect your Mp3 to the pc through data cable, then Windows detects the hardware. 2) Double click on the my computer find your Mp3 removable drive. 3) Open Mp3 storage drive then Copy the songs "by right clicking" from computer then paste the songs to Mp3.
maybe some MP3 songs was converted higher bit rate and cannot be handle by your CP system, try to convert to lower bit rate. Try also to rename it in short file name before importing to your CP......
Downloading songs to an MP3 player is similar on all the MP 3 players.
If you would like to download to your MP# player and then listen to MP3 files on your computer, then you need:
1.An Internet connection 2.An MP3 player.
If you find a song on the web as MP3 file, and you like to download it to your hard disk , all you have to do, double click on it. Most songs range between 2 and 4 MB, so it will take 10 to 15 minutes unless you have a high-speed Internet connection. Once the song has finished downloading, try to double-click on the file and see what happens.
Once you have downloaded the songs, connect the MP3 player with the computer via the USB cable that has been given in the box.
One end to go inside the MP3 palayer and the other to go in the usb port on the computer. The moment you connect the MP3 player the somputer will detect the MP3 player. You can then save the copy of songs you have downladed on your MP3 player. You can select the sond saved on your compuet by doing a CTRL+C key and then go to MY COMPUTER> and under the drives section it will show your MP3 player. CLICK ON THE PHILIPS PLAYER TO GO INSIDE SO THAT YOU CAN DO A CTRL+V and copy the songs on the MP3 player.
That should do the trick and you shoudl be able to listen to your favourite songs on the move.

MP3 players cant be used with itunes, Itunes is only for Ipods and such.
Just see where you download the actual songs. and put them in a folder and copy the songs into your MP3 player.
Or you can also try right clicking on the song in itunes and then copying and pasting it in the MP3 player

The GPX mp3 player is incompatible with iTunes (as are most non-iPod mp3 players). There are a few mp3 players out there that are iTunes compatible, but this is not the one.
what i belive you have to do is go to menu, then import, then open folder. Then find the folder of music you want to upload. And it should be placed in your music library.
All I can suggest is that you go to the sony website and first go to the download page for sonicstage cp. There is a link to update your firmware to 3.0. After doing that, if you arent already using it, download sonicstage cp from there and use that instead of connect or old sonicstage. That will probably sort you out.
The connect player doesnt work. Download the latest software package from the sony website which raplaces it- Sonicstage-CP. The link is below.

Also, whilst downloading SS-CP, upgrade your firmware to 3.0. The link is somewhere on the download page for SS-CP.
It works. Hope this helps.
