Select inbox click on the email you wish to delete ,click the delete tab.if you want to delete all highlite all emails and click on delete tab,if you delete an email by mistake you can look in your deleted folder and select the email you wish to keep and then go to the move tab click on the drop down tab and select where you wish to save the email to you can also do this same operation to retrieve all your emails

Usually, if the account hasn't been opened for 4 months, the ail gets deleted. If your e-mail was deleted in just a day, its either been hacked or some error from the e-mail service provider. Contact yahoo customer care

Deleted messages in YahooMail are moved to the Trash folder temporarily, where they are subject to deletion at anytime..
so probably there's two way out..
OPEN THE THRASH FOLDER..
1)what u can do is Check the mail(s)..click on the 'Move' drop down filter-key..click on 'New Folder'..give a name..press ok..
2)CLICK ON THE SUBJECT OF THE MAIL TO OPEN IT PARTICULARLY,..CLICK ON MOVE DROP DOWN MENU..CLICK ON "INBOX"..
hope this'll solve ur problem..

If anybody is having any problems with yahoo mail ..I am having problems with mail. I asked for a restoration of my deleted emails which I got sent to me. It was supposed to be the last 7 days but I got them back from April. Tried without succession to get in contact with yahoo. On the questionnaire page of help it didn't have my problem. franticly thinking.aha... I went into security my account on yahoo and found recent activity..mmmm a few that were not my log ins ... came out of that deleted all cache..changed my password and........shhhhhhhhhhh I deleted my trash and it is still gone today...... HOPEFULY no more problems

Thunderbird (running on your pc) The whole inbox is available to be deleted in one go.

A voice mail has been trapped in the voicemail inbox of my motorola w180 handset. I cant delete it even after a master reset and a master clear. Pl info me how to solve this problem.
have you tried calling your voicemail inbox and deleting it there? normaly a voice mail is not saved on your phone, but at your provider. so you have to call your mailbox as if you want to listen to your voicemails, and there you can choose to hear, to save or to delete it.

I understand that you need to recover the e-mails deleted from the Inbox.

Fortunately this can easily be done and you will be able to retrieve your deleted e-mail instantly!

Please click on "Trash" under Folders menu on the left of the mailbox. Then, you will see all your deleted e-mails lying there.

All you need to do is, select the e-mail, click on move and select "To Inbox" to move the selected e-mails to the Yahoo mail Inbox.

This will resolve the issue you are facing.

If u have deleted from inbox, then the deleted mails get into Trash, u can get ur mails from trash. If u have deleted the mails from Trash , then there is no way u can get ur mails recovered.

the solution for your emails getting deleted plz first chk the memory, and then chk the autoageing and set that to FOREVER. chk the size of the mail box, it cannot have more than 900 mails. and finaly chk weather the mail delivery on the system is to the inbox or not if it is not then make it to inbox

You can try contacting Yahoo! Mail support. The only way someone can try to delete your inbox is if you give them your password....I shouldn't have to tell you what a bad idea that is. Go through Yahoo!'s support system, and have them do it for ya.

I had this problem on a Fusic (LX-550). The error occurs because a picture mail is corrupted that you're currently trying to preview (inbox). The Fusic inbox shows 3 pic mails at a time. If one of the three is bad, you'll get that error. If the bad pic mail is the most recent in the inbox, then send 3 pic mails to yourself to bump the bad one to number 4. This should allow you to get to your inbox without the error, although you still have to avoid the bad pic mail page(move up in the inbox to see you're oldest mail). Sending pic mails to yourself one at a time is one method of narrowing down the bad pic mail. The permanent fix is to install bitpim, edit->detect phone, view->view file system, navigate to /EPM/MediaStore/MessageStore and delete the offending pic mail. The file name with the highest number is probably most recent. Right click on the file and perform a hex dump to read the message time stamp. Do a backup first and view the hexdump to verify you're deleting a pic mail file. Good luck!
