My motor has a model number of vxl-10s i cant find any model numbers with the s at the end in any of the model number look ups

Let me know th model number of your saw. The number you gave is a unisaw, not made anymore but highly desirable The motor may have been changed because the original motor if you can find one is extremely expensive. The original motor does not use capacitors. let me know more about the motor mfg, hp model number frame size voltage.

There are a few steps to rounding.

Identify the column that you are rounding.

Look to the digit immediately to the right.

If this digit is 5 or more, add 1 to the original column, otherwise don't add 1 to the original column.

Make numbers to the right of the original column 0.

Let's round this to the nearest 10s. The number immediately to the right is 8, so we add 1 to the 10s column and make the numbers to the right zeros. I get 4,320.

When rounding, we always look at the number one to the right of the one we are rounding to. In this example, we are rounding to the nearest hundred, so we look at the number in the 10s column. In this case, it is 9. If the number in this column is 5 or above, we round the number in the hundred column up by one, and set the 1s and 10s columns to zero. You should get 8,800. If the number in the 10s column was 4 or below, we would leave the hundreds column the same as it was, and set the 1s and 10s columns to zero.

Are you running a lipo or nmhi? You could have the lipo cut off turned on and the battery is too low. Or it could have a bad motor. Try hooking up another motor an see what happens. Or try to turn off lipo mode.

Hold the reset button in for 10-15 seconds... Now its defaulted back to factory and the user name and pass will both be admin.

There may be other 10-10s, on this site they are in order posted not size or model number. HTH

Your vxl is set on the wrong battery type. It got inadvertantly set to a lithium ion battery setting and it immediately reads your 8.4 volt battery as being dead! Look through your instruction manual about 4 pages in and it will show you how to set the battery setting back to a regular battery. I had the same problem and as soon as I reset the vxl motor controller back to standard battery, mine works great! Don't get discouraged, it is a great hobby and lots of fun for all. There are many upgrades you can also do by gearing down the motor for faster speed. Gear change packs are about 20.00 and can really boost your speed. I hope this helps.
