Knowing the beep pattern will help diagnose the issue. Power on the computer again and listen for long beeps and/or short beeps. There are other possibilities, but if you just cleaned out the computer, I suspect you might have dislodged a memory stick. Make sure they are seated completely and the white tabs are locked securely in place. The beep code you hear will ultimately help determine where the failure is happening.

If it was wired wrong it wouldn't run. I would suspect uneven tightening of the motor screws.

yes there is a diod in the fan its like a fuse but smaller if you open the modules in the fan you may see a diod burnt or dicolered this does happen alot these control differnt parts of the fan light fan itself, good luck
