Uploading video to computer from Kodak MX1063

I recently connected my camera to my computer and uploaded all my photos and videos taken. When I went to the folder on my computer to view them, only the pictures were there but I can't find the video I took anywhere. And the camera erased all the photos and video from it when it uploaded it to my computer. Any advice on how to locate the video that was uploaded?

Check the format of your video file, it may be hidden if it has different file extension for which your computer does not have the application to view.

Regarding your files got deleted, you might selected the option to move the files from your camera to your computer instead of copy the files.

Hope this helps.

I have a nikon d 3100 and upload all my photos to my computer by inserting the memory card directly into my computer. I am using Picasa to upload my pictures. I have a few videos that I have also taken...

There should be an option within Picasa that allows you to also include video. I'm not familiar with Picasa but most post processing programs provide these upload options. Let me know.

Uploading photos "camera Error"

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

When i am uploading pictures it will not upload all of them example out of 56 it uploaded 33 it says they are duplicate photos

Your camera is not numbering the pics consecutively...it's starting over again. You'll have to rename them to download them.

Uploading problem

There are a few different ways to upload them. I have found that when I connect the camera to the computer, sometimes I get scrambled photos. When I use a card reader, connected directly into the USB port, I get all good pictures. If I connect the camera OR the card reader to a USB hub, at least half of my pictures get scrambled. I take 3-4 thousand photos in a years time. I was happy to end the problem.

Uploading videos

When you connect the camera to the PC through USB, you should see the Scanner and Camera Wizard. It gives you the option to transfer pictures and videos to another location on your system. It won't do if if you don't have the room on your HDD.
