Sounds like the power to the solenoid valves that allow the water to either come out the door or go to the ice maker, is not present.

LG Fridge GS-L668PNL (Control Panel-Display) not working

It is possible that the issue is with the control panel (display) itself, as you have ordered a replacement. However, before installing the new control panel, you should check the wiring connections and make sure they are secure and not damaged. You should also check the electrical supply to the fridge to ensure that it is functioning properly. If the issue persists after installing the new control panel, you may want to consider calling a professional to diagnose the issue.

Water and ice dispenser does not work---the switch clicks when you press it but there is not response, also the ice maker just quit working

Three things could be wrong:
Solenoid switch where the water comes into the unit has gone, this control the flow of water into both the ice maker and the water dispenser.
If the switch is good and then you need to check your filters, sometimes inside the door top right. or on one of the corners on the bottom front.. You should be able to unscrew them with you hands.. make sure water is off behind unit or where ever your shut off is at.
One last thing.. check for kinks in the water line behind the unit if it was pulled out lately.

Water line not working

The door switch controls a solenoid valve. I don't know exactly where it is. The solenoid valve is bad, or the switch is bad. If it works intermittently, it is more likely the switch - usually. However, if you are hearing a buzz, I would think that would be the solenoid valve buzzing, indicating a problem with the mechanical valve part of the solenoid valve. Likely, it needs to be removed, taken apart and cleaned.

Freezer works, fridge doesn't cool

Probably excessive ice in the condensor. Likely defrost thermostat or defrost heater problem.

What happens is excessive ice keeps airflow from the refrigerator part of the unit.

Water leak in back of fridge for 2 days. All else works fine

It sounds like the fridge water supply line is leaking. Pull the fridge out and have a look. May just need tightening.

Fan begins to make noise - then fridge stops.

You have a defrost system failure and needs to be checked.

You can manually defrost for a temp fix. Turn it off, take everything out of the freezer, use a hairdryer to warm the back wall, 20-30 min, put everything back, turn it back on and you should be good for a couple of days.

Ice maker stopped after electric shutoff

You may have a problem with the computer control board in the ice maker.  Try this.  Turn off the icemaker for about 2 minutes.
Turn on the ice maker and press the clear button.  Press and hold this button for 12 seconds to get it to force extract.  This will confirm that the motors will work and push the ice cubes out.  Afterwards, let it run by itself.  If it still doesn't make ice, you will need to replace the icemaker.
