RF267aewp french door refrigerator is acting crazy. Sometimes compressor fan runs, sometimes it doesn't same with freezer fans. Front control panel will not respond so I cannot get into diagno

Had same problem on my fridge a long time ago. Here is what was wrong on mine. Debris had clogged up around the fan blades to the point where the very small motor that runs the fan was not powerful enough to make the fan turn. When this happens the compressor has to work harder and harder until it finally shut down on safety cutout. I had to open the back of the fridge and clean up the fan blades, [ took the opportunity to put a small amount of oil on the fan shaft too, my Norge fridge is now over 50 years old.]

The 2 fans are not working but the freezer coils are freezing up won;t go below 20 degrees

the freezing is and temp are caused by the fans not working. One fan pulls warm air out of the box and across the evaporator coil, which in your case is frozen, and the other fan is used to pull air over the condensing coil which rejects the heat pulled out of the box. check the wiring diagram for a fan relay first, which can easily be changed out, or by some crazy chance, both fans quite working at the same time

I have a Brandt Apollo frost free fridge freezer which is malfunctioning, it is about four years old. The fridge section is dead whilst he freezer funtions. I noticed also that the interior light had got...

it may be repairable. setting the freezer aside for a moment, check to see if the fans come on when you first plug it in. make sure the vents dont have food debris in front of them. If the fans do not come on, you may be able to simply replace the fan or fans that pull warm air and blow cool air into the fridge. they get there cooling from the same coils and the freezer is working, so must be fans or fan relay

I have a Subzero 501F that stopped freezing. The compressor is running(replaced about 2 years ago.) and all of the fans are working. Any ideas?

Either the unit is low or out of freon or the fan that cools the condenser has stopped working. If you can improvise a fan to blow on the condenser, yould should be able to tell if that is the problem within a few hours. If you can locate the fan and it is not working then you have found the problem.

Fan is not working

I would unplug your unit so that you can replace the fan. It sounds like the bearings have gone out on your fan. This is somthing that you can do yourself. If you do not feel comfortable, you can pay a technician about $200 to do this for you. If you decide to do it yourself, remove the fan and bring it to your local supplier. He can sell you a replacement.
