try usiing just the charger without the rechargeable batts...if toy turns on with just that then prob maybe eiither the toy itself or you need new rechargeable batts
It could be because of the amount of devices that are connected to your wifi. Too many devices could put a lot of weight on your bandwith causing the wifi itsself to become slower. Disconnect any devices using wifi in your home that dont need to be on every day and try reseting your modem or router. You could also use a usb cord to get a more direct connection or you might have to upgrade to a faster wifi company. If the problem still continues take your device back and get it fixed, call the number in the troubleshooting guide, or visit the nextbook website and make sure you have your device registered.
have you tried calibrating the screen? You can do this by pressing the Home Button, question mark, and volume up button all at the same time. Turn the toy on without letting go of the other three buttons until you see the Touch Calibration Screen. If this does not help, then I suggest you call Vtech. Is your kindle or whatever registered with amazon ? they need to know where to send and give you an option. I have mine sent to my kindle and laptop. It doesn't sound like a connection problem but I could wrong
