Probably they are made not to be pulled out unless you really tug hard, so they shouldn't be pulled out accidentally?

Drawer wont slide and dishwasher does not work

please provide the model number of the dishwasher so that I can identify the type of lid seal it is using. Usually the lid seal actuator motors are stuck and prevent drawer from opening. You could force it open with a slight tug. Otherwise turn the mains power off and on and see if it makes any difference. Need to check the lid seals for damage otherwise it may leak in future and cause flood switch to trip.

Get Wooden Sliding Doors and Drawers to slide smoothly

I have a house built in the 70's and the previous owners built in cabinets along an entire wall with sliding wooden doors. I would have to pull and tug and tug to get them to open, and then they would often pull the other door open with them!

This would have been a situation where, with a different material other than wood, WD-40 would have been perfect! Of course I was working with wood, so that wasn't an option.

I finally took an ordinary bar of soap (nothing fancy with moisturizers or extra ingredients) and ran it along the wood where the cabinets slide. Bingo!

I have since used this method to make wooden drawers open and close smoother and I do touch everything up every couple of months with a little run across of bar soap!

Glide rails on kenmore bottom drawer freezer keep freezing up

I suspect that you've got a leaky ice maker. Do you have clumps of ice in the bin, too? Many times, replacing the ice maker will solve the problem.

Deli drawer

You don't say brand or size but normally if you remove drawer and shelf above it, unless clips are broken(you can order new) install the clips, install shelf and install drawer that no longer falls down.

The detergent draw won't pull in and out easy. You've really got to 'pull' to get it open and 'push' really hard to make it close.

theres is probably soap inside the track where the drawer slides, just clean it out and you should be fine.

Top drawer of 2 drawer f and p dishwasher was very hard to slide open and have to really push hard to close, like something is binding

Hi,aside from any obstruction is thet DishDrawer® square and level?. Is the DishDrawer® fastened securely to the cabinetry to prevent flex or movement? If not, the square geometry this appliance requires with affect drawer performance when opening and closing.
This is the most common cause for your problem. I'm not 100% sure, but it is something to take into consideration. Just a thought.

My fisher and parkel dishwasher keeps displaying F1

The best thing to do is turn the power off ,remove the bottom drawer by pushing in the clips on side of the drawer ,just below the round plugs. The clips are attached to runners, push them back to release the drawer and ( after taking out the rack and spray arm) put the drawer on its r.h.side. Mop up the all water in the base, then remove the cover that goes over the back L.h. corner, this will expose the mains/flood switch board ( make sure you dry the roof of the drawer before you take the cover off , or water can drip onto the board .....not a good thing!!!yikes.gif).

To remove the cover, push in the clip in the middle front edge of the cover with a flat blade screwdriverand slide the cover foward a bit, then put the screwdriver under the clip and twist up, the cover should now pull off to the right. Spend a couple of minutes drying the board with a hair dryer and mop up any remaining water ( be careful of the board again). Refit the cover and switch back on ( you shouldn't need to force the cover on, just slide it on from right to left , but you may have to push down the cover just above the clip to get it to lock once it is located correctly). If it doesn't F1 again ,all good, if it does , remove cover and redry, and repeat until it doesn't.

To refit drawer, slide out L.h. rail and sit drawer on it, then lift right side of drawer and slide out other rail and sit other side down. If the rails don't want to slide foward and lock, lift the drawer at the front while sliding the rail fowarduntil the front edge of the rail is just at the clipping gap at the side of the drawer, then make sure the drawer is sitting down firmly on the rails and pull clips foward to lock. If the drawer has been clipped in correctly it will slide in and out nicely, if not , look at the back edge of the drawer when it is fully open to see where it is sitting too high and rectify by refitting the rail on the affected side/sides. By this point if any part of the bottom drawer was broken ,you would have seen it. Also check the top drawer by releasing it and pulling it foward, shine torch in and have a good look.

Hopefully it won't leak again unless ther is a faulty part not visible to the nakedshock.gif eye, check by running one drawer for a couple of minutes, stop the cycle and open the drawer and check the outsides for water ( don't be too worried if you see water in the bottom between the drawers as it will drip from the roof, unless the drain or fill hoses are split ) ,if ok, run the other drawer and check.

Remember, if you get to a point where you don't feel confident with what you doing or you think you might break something, leave it and call a professional to do the job, you may save money in the long run and if you going to expose wires or connections always switch off and unplug before removing the cover, you dont know whats underneathxbones.gif.

Rear seat conversion on a 98 honda passport 4wd

Hey I have the same vehicle. You have to tug it really really hard to pull up the seats. It does feel like its locked, but it isn't. It is just really tight. Once you pull the seats up a few times it will loosen up.

My indset washing machine

most soap drawers have a little springy thing you press to allow it to come out, this stops it getting pulled all the way out by mistake, pull the drawer out as far as it will go gently till it stops then look for something that will move on the top where the soap goes, try pressing it, sometimes it is a different colour, if you found this the drawer will slide out when you press this bit, if there is nothing that moves or nothing to press then give the drawer a little bit extra force ( a short sharp tug) and it should just slide out that last little bit, to put it back just line it up with the slides and push gently back into place, it shouldn't be forced too hard to do this, it should just slide back
