HOw can I repair the Samsung French Door fridge which has a broken handle on the freezer. side) that connects the handle to the actual freezer door that is broken.

The screw heads may be inside the door cavity, screwed into the back of the handles.
If this is the case, as with our Fridge-Master fridge/freezer, it is very difficult, needing strip down of door.

by the look of the picture it should not have that problem

something jammed or fallen on both openings
that stop doors from opening
call a fridge repairer first
those doors cost a lot to replace
maybe the fridge guy can you undo the top hinge of the french doors

if the freezer draw handle is broken you might need his help with that anyway

You did not provide a model number which is located on a label on the inside liner of your fresh food section.



Usually the door handles are held on in one of two ways.



1.) Inspect the sides of the door handles. Are there small allen wrench screws - tighten them.

2.) Ok, no screws on the side. There are mounting brackets screwed onto the door. At times the screws become loose. Use a little muscle and pull the handle up hard to release from the bracket. Tighten the screws on the bracket to the door. Position the handle back on the bracket and pull the handle down hard until secure.

You cant find a hole to insert screw from outside. It is true, and you can't fix it yourself to what it looked like earlier. The company first screws in through the handle and then covers the hole made by it with the material of the handle. If you have to fix it yourself, you can only pierce those screws through the handle leaving the mark behind. If you don't want that, contact your company or dealer.

there are two screws on each side of the bottom freezer unit you need to remove. they can be removed after de-installing the front bin with the two plastic sleeves on the right and left. Then you can remove the bottom drawer door and the bins inside. next, open both top doors and angle the fridge with one door inside the door frame, then "walk" the fridge over the doorstoop, turning towards the inside door as you push. Follow thru with the rest of the unit, then re-attach the bottom drawer.

get a 2.5 allen wrench and tighten the bottom side of the handle

grab hold and pull straight up!! itll be tight but just pressured on, theres an mounting screw under there, then just pull back down and on

if the butter fly clip is brroken . you need to change the door. other than that you can replace the handle only. with the butter fly clip. parts cast only 100.00
