My sharp has blac and white pic how do I fix

If this is done with every input of your tv and also with tv channels this means a bad circuitboard .You can find on ebay one and mod it yourself. Its not such a difficult thing.

Sounds like your LCD Control board went bad. Very small chance it is your main board since you said you cant bring up a menu.

I have the same model with the same problem.After searching for solution to this problem for months I finally found the fault. One of the speakers was
faulty, you will not believe it but change the speakers and the problem will be fixed. The speaker cable is red/black white/black.

The odds are one of the capacitors popped. Look around the circuit boards for this bad capacitor. It should be deformed and stick out like a sore thumb. Radio Shack or some local electronic supply place should carry replacements.

same things happened to me...did you solve this?

first turn your colur to black and white at front control..behind the pic tube got a card there got 3 variable resistor mark as R G B tune this three control to get pure black and white colour untill you satisfied then adjust back front colour volume must be ok otherwise replace the RGB ic/transister

Had the same problem. It turns out my cables that go from the dvd player to the tv were bad. Did you try using other cables? If not, try it out.

try unpugging from the wall for about 5 min. they say this resets the tv i tried it and my pic came back on worth a try

Your TV goes black & white, because your Wii could be NTSC or PAL which. If your Wii is PAL and your TV is NTSC then the TV will show a blac and white color. Since NTSC is for North America and PAL for Asia
