My kitchen aid range keeps leaking gas from the oven. How do I fix this.?

I have a kitchen aid gas range KGSA906PSS. The oven keeps on leaking gas when the oven is off. The person who installed it did a leak test at the gas valve and that was fine. What do I need to do to fix this?

Kitchen aid gas range model kgsa906pss. After using self clean oven door is locked and control panel is out. There is power through the thermal fuse. What else should I check?

Try unplugging the unit for about 10 minutes and then plugging it back in. If the problem persists call for service especially if under warranty.

Sounds like my problem two days ago. I have a Kitchen Aid free standing gas oven/range model
KGRI801PWH00. I read online that the thermo-fuse might've blown. I found the thermo-fuse after removing the rear panel. It was at the top/center. Mine is T-O-D (brand) 60F24; Westinghouse #8300802. I ordered mine from appliancepartspros.com for only $34.75; arrived in 36 hrs with regular shipping!! Easy to fix, sure beats several hundred $$ to repairman.

Don't bother to call Kitchen Aid - they'll just blow you off just like the hundreds of complaints said that I found online.

Kitchenaid gas range keeps beeping intermittantly, oven turns on by itself and code F2:E1 keeps comiong up on pad. What is the problem

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2-E1 in your Kitchen Aid range indicates shorted keypad. To resolve this issue you’ll have to check the oven temp. sensor circuit if the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced however, if the rating is fine then it is the Electronic Range Control (ERC) that has gone bad & should be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Kitchen aid oven blackout after using self clean. Waiting for repair. $100.00 service call. $ 70 part fee. From what I read on the internet this will just happen again. Anyone know of a way to solve this...

this is probably the thermal fuse replacement fix (see my other posts for easy replacement directions)..

i'm sure kitchen aid wont recommend this but if you slip a thin piece of cardboard or non combustable insulation material between your replacement thermal fuse and the oven wall, you may not have the problem again..

good luck
tpug

p.s. i'm trying to source an auto-resetting thermal fuse for this application... if i find one, i'll post knowledge for everyone..
