Printer work normaly withaut any error but when printed no color came out, the print head is clean...

my printer dcp-165 black colour not print not working normaly.when print blank copy.colour printing is working in good condition.when I have done the cleaning it only prints out the colour test.thanks

but remember, every week you should at leas have a print to keep your print head OK

try to head clean your printer..
follow this steps
1.click start
2.than click printers&faxes
3.right click on hp deskjet printer logo
4.select printing preference tab
5. click on maintenance
6. click on head clean
do it once and try to print some picture with best quality print setting.. and than try to print normaly again.. repeat the steps until the printer normal.

Printer head is probably blocked or dirty.
Please clean the head using the tool which normaly comes with the printerdrives. It will allow the printer to print using all heads with intention to clean. May be accesible via the printer properties option.

Clean the print head if you suspect that the nozzles might be clogged. Cleaning the print head consumes ink, so perform print head cleaning only when necessary.

If the printer is printing blank pages, make sure you are using the correct printer driver and make sure the paper size is correctly selected in the driver. If the printer is printing black only, the Ink option in the printer driver may be set to Black instead of Color or a setting in the software may be set to print black only. Also, the print head nozzles may be clogged. From the Utility section found in the printer driver, clean the print heads by performing a head cleaning followed by printing a nozzle check pattern. A head cleaning and nozzle check must be performed as a cycle. After printing a nozzle check, examine the printed dot pattern. Each staggered horizontal and straight vertical line should be complete, with no gaps in the dot pattern. If there are gaps in the dot pattern, continue with another cycle. Performing up to 6 cleaning cycles is not uncommon if the print heads are severly clogged.

My printer will not print black ink. The color ink is very light. I replaced a new color cartlidge, cleaned the printheads and tried to callibrate, but the printer could not identify the callibration page from my scanner. Can you help me resolve my problem?
