I bought a new HDMI Cable and still nothing. There was a recent lightning strike an also knocked out the Modem/Router for the Internet. Sonys website says there is No Firmware Updates for this TV. So maybe its the Board then but there is 5 diff boards in this TV.

Either the HDM firmware or the circuit board will be faulty. Connect it with an other known good HDMI cable, and make sure that the fault is not with the connecting cable.

Sony Bravia KDL-60EX700 BAL Board / Flashing Green Amber

It sounds to be a firmware trouble. Will be best to contact the authorized service center for Sony, rather than trying to do it by yourself, as it is a very skilled work, need both concentration and previous experience. google.com/+GopakumarGopalan

Either buy a new board or take a HDMI port off of something non working and see if it lines up with the solder points.

I'm trying to use my bravia as a computer monitor.

Your Bravia should have a 15 pin PC input, this input can take most standard PC resolutions, however if you a have a video card with an HDMI port, you should set your resolution to 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz refresh rate so that the signal can be recognized and processed, many standard PC video resolutions are not compatible with the HDMI inputs. You should not require audio cables unless you are using a DVI to HDMI connection.

Hdmi port stopped working on sony bravia KDL-32L4000, when I connect my ps3 or direct tv trhough hdmi cables I will just get a blank screen that will say no signal.

I have a Sony Bravia model KDL-46s5100 that had the same problem. All HDMI ports stopped working. I don't know why this works but unplug the TV for about 30 sec, then plug it back in and hold down the power button on the tv for 10 seconds. Like I said I don't know why this works but it worked for me. Good luck.

How do I connect my laptop to a Sony Bravia model KDL-40S4100?

Two options are available to you-

1. Through VGA Cable(Same cable which goes from CPU to PC Monitor)- For Video.
Take to PC Mode from MENU -> EXTERNAL I/P -> PC.

2. Through HDMI Cable.
Take to HDMI Mode from MENU -> EXTERNAL I/P -> HDMI.

If Still No Video
CASE1- 'NO Signal' Message Comes, then toggle the laptop screen with Function Key (depending upon laptop company).
CASE-2- 'Un-Supported Signal' Message comes then adjust the resolution to 1024*768 or 800*600 or as mentioned in Manual.

Please intimate me if any other problem comes after that.
