Sounds like a main control issue. I would call a service technician for further investigation. Try shutting the breaker off for 10 minutes or so and see if this corrects the issue.

SOURCE: Time skips from 18 minutes to 6 minutes on automatic mode

It is the moisture sensor system, it is not sensing the wet clothes. Open the door, inside you should see a part with 2 metal bars that is around 3 inches long, clean these bars with a mult purpose cleaner. Sometimes fabric softner sheets and detergent builds up on this so that the machine cannot sense the moisture. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: duet dryer is getting too

Check you venting. Sounds like it it stopped up with lint, etc. The vent starts at the connection in back of the dryer where the 4" flex hose connects to the dryer all the way to the outside of the house. Hope this helps you.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Duet dryer time skips mins.

clean the stainless steel sensor pads located just inside the dryer door with isopropyl alcohol, these sensors register moisture in the garments and adjust drying times accordingly, when you use dryer fabric softener sheets it coats these sensors and throws the system off, make sure to shut off power to unit as this alcohol is very flammable, then leave door open to air out before re-powering up unit

Why is my Samsung DV 350AGP XAA stuck in cool down mode

The issue may be caused by a faulty thermistor. The thermistor is responsible for monitoring the temperature of the dryer. If it is malfunctioning, the dryer will stay in cool down mode as it cannot determine that the temperature is within safe levels. Check the thermistor connection and if necessary replace it. If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to contact a professional repair specialist to further diagnose the fault.

I wonder if maybe your wire is attached to the sensors? If it vibrated off the connection that could be the problem. Here is a video I made which shows how to connect the wire:

Asko Dryer t760 program menu won't change or is frozen The program menu is stuck on one setting, and the P1, P2, P3, P4 buttons don't change the program. When I try to reset the program (by pressing...

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

By stating "the dryer does work" indicates it is likely an issue with programming.

What are the chances you have the menu lock-out option turned "on"...also referred to as "child lock".

You may quickly rule this out or confirm it is the problem indeed, by trying this.

CHILD-SAFE START

1. Turn the machine off then on.
2. Press ENTER five times, then press P3 five
times. (This must be done within 15 seconds.)
3. “Delayed start” displays with “0” flashing in the
lower right corner. Press the Right Arrow button
to toggle the display to “3.”

**NOTE: Child-Safe Menu Button**
Please note that when you set the child-safe Start
button, the Menu button is automatically
programmed to delay for three seconds before it
becomes active. This prevents a child from
accidentally changing the program settings.
When you want to change a program, press the Menu
button for three seconds to activate the menus. The
Menu button will work normally (without the
three-second delay) until you have completed your
changes. If it is not pressed for two minutes, it will
automatically revert back to the child-safe mode.

Let me know if this indeed solves the problem but either way please keep me posted.

Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

When I turn the camera on it's stuck in one setting and I can't use the telefoto option. it says in the screen F2.8 and I can't reset to factoru presets.

I am not sure what setting you have it on- are you in automatic mode? F2.8 is the aperture. If you are in manual or program mode it will not change unless you make it. Auto mode will do that automatically. Check the dial on the top of the camera and make sure it is aimed in the right direction.

I have a whirlpool GEQ9800LG1 Dryer that takes along time to dry

Does this dryer have an automatic mode? If so, does it dry appropriately in manual (timed) mode?

If the timed mode is working, then the moisture sensor is bad.

Stuck in Hexadecimal!

Try removing the batteries, and cover any solar displays - or lock in a drawer fro a couple of days.

This may help it revert to it's standard start up routine.

Hope this assists. I cannot find a manual listed for these.
