Hi Jorgey,
Either there's something inside that's stopping it closing properly or the hinges have been deformed and are not working correctly. So clear out the oven and try door. Otherwise inspect hinges carefully for deformation. If necessary remove door and hinges. Carefully try to reshape the hinges. If this fails you need new hinges

The oven door doesn't close tight

Hello, Anna -

The problem of your oven door not closing tightly could be caused by one of several problems:
* A problem with the door hinges
* Broken oven door springs
* A problem with the gasket inside the edge of the oven door

This article from the San Francisco Examiner newspaper describes the problems and how to fix them:

Best wishes.

Oven door doesnt close well

I'm not familiar with your oven but most oven doors are very similar in operation. When the door doesn't close well it's generally because the hinges have been stretched/bent when the oven door has been open. To see if this is the case, open the door fully. If it's stretched the door will open past 90 degrees (slope down instead of being horizontal). The easiest way to fix this is to bend it back. Place something as a spacer between the door and the oven on both sides (like a spanner handle or anything strong and about 8mm thick) as close to the hinge as possible. Close the door against it carefully and push the door closed. Do it a little at a time and remove the spacers and try the door each time until you are happy that it closes nicely again. It should be spring loaded closed slightly.

Oven door does not close properly

When you say "oven door does not close properly", do you mean that it closes but not tightly against the rubber seal on the oven cavity?
Or is it some other closing problem?

If it is the former, then it is a sign of the door hinge springs wearing out. The solution to this is to replace both hinges on the offending door.

My Wolrd Pool Double Oven Door will not close all

same problem, I tried to adjust the level and tip the oven back, but that didn't work either.
Two options exist, change the hinges, or close the door with a hammer handle between the door and oven. Place the handle down low by hinge, then push the door closed very firmly to pull the hinge outward a bit.

Oven door does not fully close

The usual reason for oven doors not closing properly, is weak door hinges,if it does not close all the way, and the door seal is o/k, then I suggest you replace both door hinges. Please rate my solution. Thamks.

Oven doors will not close properly

Most of these I have seen have to have the hinges and recievers replaced to get the doors to close properly and keep the light off.
