remove wheel, brake assembly & rotor. rotate to where the broken stud is in the opening where the brake assembly was. drive the broken stud out of the hub flange. then install the new stud by stacking washers on the new stud and tighten the lug till it pulls the new studs flange tight against the back side of the hub. remove lug and washers , reassemble .
most likely you have a bad wheel speed sensor or a broken wire to the wheel speed sensor. you will need it scanned to find out which sensor is acting up. if it is a broken wire it usually will be for a front wheel speed sensor from all the turning and it should be with in the first 6 inches or so from the sensor. to replace sensor you must replace front wheel bearing sensor assembly.
Hi, Do you have auto locking hubs on the front wheels, or manual locking hubs? If you have auto locking hubs chances are they are not engaging properly and will need to be removed and spline sets checked for broken teeth on locking hub and locking shaft. If you have manual locking hubs then check that they are firm when turning to engage them in the lock position.If they are light when engaging them to the lock position then they my have broken/worn out the locking hub and spline. Also check that the engaging spring inside the hub has enough tension to engage the hubs they may be broken. If the hub are all ok then you have a problem in the transfer box, where the 4WD lever is not meshing the transfer box properly. Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.
It sounds like you have either a broken steel belt in your tire or a worn out idler arm in your steering assembly. Other causes may be a bent wheel, a flat spot on the tire or worst case your brake rotor / wheel hub may be loose. If the rotor / wheel hub is loose you may have severly damaged wheel bearings. Good luck...
Have you a had a 4 wheel alignment done?If all four wheels aren't set to a comman center line it cause it to shake,a warped brake rotor could cause this also.
