When I try text message I type the fist word and it comes out underlined, then I try to type another word but a different word comes out underlined

yes right click any color u r chose any color right click for underline and left click for text color

Welcome to Fixya. The underlining of text when writing happens when the Predictive Text option is Enabled. When in text mode you can use the Hash Key (#) under number 9 Key to change the case of letters or prediction.

I am having the same problem with Droid 2. It is underlining everything I type in an app or text, and I can't make it stop. I know how to lock and unlock caps and alt, but this is not the problem. Already tried removing the battery, but the problem remains. It didn't start doing this until I accidentally pushed several buttons on the bottom left side of the slide out keyboard when I was opening it.

You may have scripting disabled in your Internet Explorer.
To enable scripting: Click "Tools"
Click "Internet Options."
Click "Security" tab.
Click "Custom Level" button.
Scroll down to "Script ActiveX.controls marked safe for scripting"- enable
Scroll down to "Scripting - Active scripting" - enable
Scroll down to "Scripting of Java applets" - enable
Click OK
Click OK
Restart IE and try.

Start / control panel / programs
delete any old versions

make sure you have the latest version, if you do then you will have to uninstall and reinstall messenger

hey i too had da same prob and i jus downloaded a program called script from microsoft da name is script 5.7 jus download tht and install to solve this problem

before you start typing, go to options -> and something like 'text style' ?

while you can't change the font, you can type with text that has been struckthrough, underlined, bold, italics, and you can also select 3 text sizes.
