Can anyone lend a hand? I have several printers Zebra TLP 2844-Z, all with the same anomaly. By connecting the printer it is given the red LED flashes, blinks 5 times and still in red briefly and restarts the cycle without stopping. I've tried everything to turn the power on keep the button pressed, send parameters of factory. Nothing solves!

Hold the feed button while turning on the printer. After a config label
prints, turn the printer off and then on again, and try printing again.
Also, make sure the lid is closed far enough to engage the lid sensor.
If the red light comes on again, press down a bit on the lid, hit the
feed button and try to print again.

Hold the button down for a set of four flashes.

Check their website. It should let you download the user's manual after you've logged in.

I work with these at my work-work, and the manuals are pretty handy to have!
SOURCE: TLP 2844 GAP sensor problem (I guess)
I had the same problem. I found out later there was a small piece of label sticking against the sensor, thus blocking the sensor from sensing the end of the label. As soon as I removed the label (open the cover, it is on the top part) it immediately started to work as usual. Hope this helps.

The printer driver should be set to Continuous or it will think it is still Gap or Black Mark. Please adjust accordingly
