Bosch rotary hammer will not rotate

Need more information to accurately help you - model#.
The easiest thing to check is possibly a broken selector knob - most Bosch selectors come off by pushing the red button in further than normal & turning clockwise (some however are counter-clockwise) further than it normally goes - knob will pull straight out. Inspect the pin on the knob & the receiver in the tool. If these appear OK you could be looking at a bad clutch gear or stripped crown gear depending on the model

Rewind crank is loose on my Minolta XG 1 Film SLR

There is a spring in the bottom of the rewind knob that holds the crank, and it sounds like it has dislodged or the plastic rewind knob is cracked (try small amount of super glue for this). You can rewind the knob off the shaft (open the film door and put something in the rewind fork to keep the shaft from moving) and then turn the rewind knob opposite the direction of the arrow (if the arrow says turn clockwise, then turn counter clockwise). This will allow you to remove the rewind knob assembly and check it for damage, etc. Also, there is a small shaft at the end of the crank. Make sure it is not bent.

How to replace knob assembly on bosh 1 1/8 rotary hammer drill 11222 evs

Push the red button all the way in as far as it goes and turn the knob to the left (counter clockwise) past it's normal position. Then you can pull the knob out. When you replace it make sure that the pin part fits inside the slot of the shifting arm inside the tool.

When I adjust the volume, I'll turn the knob, for instance, counter clockwise to turn it down. It will go down a couple digits and then may go up again.

hi richard, seems as if your rotary volume control internal switch pins are wearing out. this is a typical problem on many units that use rotary/digital encoder volume controls. before replacing the control clean the face pins, or have the pc board checked for moisture damage, or have the solder joints checked on the volume control. cheers.

I have a Miele cooktop and often during ccoking another burner starts clicking and click for a long time......solutions..... Also the lower left burner goes on for may be 10 seconds while clicking, the...

I have the Miele km342g cooktop. The ignition would continue firing intermittently after the burner was lit - click, click, click. Drove us crazy for years and we cursed the unit every time we used it. We assumed it was sensing unburned fumes and so we bought a small fan to "whisk" the gas fumes away. etc. etc. I finally figured out what a simple little thing it was. To start the burner, you turn the knob counter-clockwise. Therefore, once the burner is lit it's intuitive to turn the burner down by turning it clockwise. But in order to turn the burner down, you have to continue turning it counter-clockwise - or, "counter-intuitive". Once we figured that out, we haven't had a problem since.

I need to know what knobs turn which way and what buttons need to be on

Volume/Squelch control: As desired
ETone: Sets the sound of the echo as desired
MicGain/RF Gain control: Normally, leave fully clockwise
Band Switch: for CB, turn all way to left (a/e)
Mode Switch: Selects how you modulate the radio. Normally, you will operate on AM, USB or LSB.
Fine/Coarse control: Changes the frequency you operate on. Normally, set so the frequency counter reading ends in 5. (center slot of the channel).
Buttons:
RB: Roger beep. Turn on or off as desired.
NB/ANL: Noise limiters. Leave on.
Frequency Counter: Turns counter lights on and off.
+10 KHZ: Allows you to get the channels missed by the Channel knob. Normally, leave off.
Power: Selects either high or low transmitter power setting.
Band: Selects band of operation. Low (A-D) or High (E-F)

On my ziess conquest, what turning knobs do what? which one makes it go up and down and which one makes it go left and right?

The top knob should be marked with a "U" and an arrow pointing clockwise. Turning this knob clockwise should adjust point of impact Up, and turning it counter-clockwise should move it Down.

The knob on the side should be marked with a "R" and an arrow pointing clockwise. Turning this knob clockwise should adjust the point of impact Right, and counter-clockwise is Left.

Alarm too sensitive keeps draining battery unable too diagnose key phob settings

is the battery draining because the alarm goes off continually? if you can find the brain module, there is an adjustment knob for the shock sensor on the side opposite the main wiring harness. counter clockwise will decrease sensitivity.

How to adjust height on tractor mower model no. 917.270812? I turn the adjustment knob and it will lock in only on the highest and lowest heights and nowhere in between.

You need to turn that knob to its highest point with the deck height lever to its highest setting. Now turn that knob counter clockwise a few turns and let the deck lever all the way down. That knob will stop the lever part way down. If it mowes to high rase that deck lever again and turn that knob counter clockwise some more and let that deck lever down again. Repete till you have the correct cutting height. If you were cutting to low turn the knob clockwise insted of counter clockwise in the instruction above. The knob only set the stop of the deck lever. Once set the deck lever lifts the deck up and holds it but when you let that lever down it returns to its mowing set height.
