SOURCE: when hose is attached, bucket fills up
The hose connection was ok, but, the hose itself was a lttle, I mean little bit higher than the connector, and as a catch all to not allow flooding, will then drip back into the bucket. I laid the entire hose down and then up a little bit to the pump and it works great. Thanks for all the help
SOURCE: Bucket fills up instead of water flowing out hose
There must be a blockage in the hose causing the water to back up and flow into the bucket. Try pushing a flexble peice of wire through the hose to unblock it.
SOURCE: Problem with draining water through hose
I bought one of the FDL70S1 Frigidaire dehumidifiers today for my shop, and found that the $5 hose I bought to drain it through the floor wouldn't tighten down completely, allowing the hose to twist and wobble, a sure indication that it was not water tight. Simply adding a second washer, as described in another answer here, allowed me to tighten the hose sufficiently to produce a tight fit with no play between the hose and the dehumidifier. It hasn't leaked. I know it is a threads-per-inch issue, and I am stumped as to why Frigidaire would supply these units with a different thread pitch than the standard GHT (garden hose thread) 3/4" - 11.5 tpi. The threads on the unit appear to be 3/4 NPS - 14 tpi. Go figure!

Check to make sure the drain hole connection on the Dehumidifer's reservoir, that you have the hose hooked to, isn't plugged.
Also, you might want to see if the hose connection on the reservoir, still has the "knock out plug" still in place. Look at the hose connection on the reservoir, and if you can't see through it, or put a screwdriver through it, you need to punch it out the middle with a screwdriver. Open up the hole as much as you can so it will drain into and through your hose.
Check your hose also, as it might be plugged, disconnect it and blow through one end to make sure the water can flow through it.
Those are the only three things that could be preventing it from draining out the reservoir, through the hose connection, and through the hose to your drain.
Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

try adding heat to the room it needs heat to draw out moisture and close any doors or windows to help isolate the area desired. just obvious tips to try if not already done so
