There is one thing that may correct this issue. You can try to reset the heater. What you will need to do is open the right hand side door and look for the POWER toggle switch, turn that off. Then turn off the Circuit Breaker that goes to the heater. Wait about 15 to 20 minutes, then reverse the order- circuit breaker on, then heater on. Try and start the heater.
If the EO4 code comes up again, look on the backside of the display panel for the diagnostic lights. If there is a problem with the heater, there will be a RED light next to some letters. That will indicate what is causing the issue with the heater.
