Samsung lcd tv is saying low or weak signal when trying to tune it in

Sumsung tv and video player only 18mths old purchased together

problem: when wanting to watch movie
on vcr&dvd player

I normally would open box to put movie on manually but cant open it
wont open
then also

would normally just go to menu then press down twice at side of enter box
which then brings you to AV1

but all it keeps saying is no signal

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP AND ADVISE

Try adding a inline digital amp, most of the time all you need is a 25 db gain, that should do it for ya
